PRESLEY LAW’s practice is limited to alternative dispute resolution and handling commercial real estate transactions. While alternative dispute resolution (or neutral services) and transactional law are different disciplines, they actually complement one another. The lawyer who’s experienced in how deals are put together is a better arbitrator because she or he understands what to look for when reviewing the party’s evidence. Likewise, the lawyer who’s arbitrated disputes is better at structuring the transaction on the front-end to avoid potential pitfalls and limit the risk of the deal going bad- or at least provide the arbitrator with a clear path for properly deciding the case.
